Think of DTG as a high-resolution photo printer built for fabric. The garment is pretreated so the ink bonds instead of soaking in, loaded flat onto a platen, and printed directly with water-based textile inks — every color, gradient, and photographic detail in a single pass. A heat cure locks the print in, leaving a finish so soft you can barely feel it.

Because there are no screens to burn and no setup to amortize, DTG makes single pieces and small runs genuinely affordable. It is the technology behind one-off memorial shirts, photo birthday tees, artist prints, and pre-production samples.

The honest trade-off: on runs above a couple dozen identical shirts, screen printing usually wins on price. We will always tell you where that line falls for your specific design.

Heat press vinyl is the workhorse for personalization. Player names and numbers on jerseys, individual staff names on work shirts, single-color logos on jackets and nylon that screen ink will not bond to — cut from durable vinyl and pressed at precise temperature and pressure for a permanent bond.

It is also how we handle specialty finishes: metallic, glitter, and reflective vinyl for safety wear. Small quantities, mixed sizes, and one-of-this-one-of-that orders are exactly what the heat press is for.
