Embroidery machines do not read image files — they read stitch files. The industry standard is the .dst format, which tells the machine every stitch, direction, and color change in your design.

Do not have a .dst file? No problem. For a one-time charge of $35.00 we will professionally digitize your logo. Once it is done, it is done — we keep it on file for all your future orders at no extra cost.

A note on heavy materials: embroidery charges are doubled for the heavier material in Carhartt jackets and similar workwear, because the thick canvas takes more time, heavier needles, and extra care to stitch cleanly.

Embroidery starts with digitizing: a specialist converts your logo into a .dst stitch file that maps every single stitch — direction, density, underlay, and color changes. This is craftsmanship, not a one-click conversion; a well-digitized file is the difference between a logo that looks carved in thread and one that puckers and gaps.

The garment is then hooped — clamped drum-tight with a stabilizer backing — and loaded onto the embroidery machine. Threading up to a dozen needle positions with your exact thread colors, the machine sews the design at hundreds of stitches per minute while we monitor tension, registration, and thread breaks.

The result has physical texture and a sheen that printing cannot imitate. It reads as premium from across a room, which is why embroidery is the default for corporate polos, caps, and anything worn to meet customers.

Caps and beanies are the classics — structured or dad-hat style, front logo or side hit. Polos and button-downs for office and service crews. Quarter-zips and softshells for cooler months. Varsity and coach jackets. Tote bags, aprons, blankets, and golf towels for events and gifts.

And the heavy stuff: Carhartt jackets, duck-canvas vests, and workwear that shrugs off job sites. Heavy material takes doubled embroidery charges because thick canvas needs heavier needles, slower speeds, and extra care — but the finished jacket lasts a decade, and the stitching lasts with it.

Remember: there is no minimum. A single cap with your logo is a completely normal order here, not a favor.

Print eventually surrenders to the washing machine — embroidery does not. Polyester and rayon threads hold their color through hundreds of wash cycles, will not crack or peel, and actually look better as the garment breaks in. For uniforms that get washed twice a week, that durability is the whole economic argument: cost per wear beats every other decoration method.

It is also why embroidered pieces feel like gear rather than merch. A stitched logo signals that a company invests in its people — worth remembering when you are choosing between a $4 print and a $9 stitch for the crew who represents you.
